The aim of the Royal Heraldry Society of Canada or RHSC and its branches is to encourage, educate and promote the art & science of heraldry. Since the Society's formation more than three decades ago, the RHSC has never lost sight of its objectives and continues to this day informing Canadians and providing guidance in obtaining coat-armour. Many Society members elect to also join one or more of the four branches ie. Laurentian, Ottawa, Toronto and/or BC/Yukon. They do so for a variety of reasons eg. socializing & meeting locally, regional projects and exhibits, and receipt of Branch newsletters/magazines. Ottawa and Toronto have newsletters whereas BC/Yukon has a heraldic magazine, the latter averaging 24 pages thrice yearly.
