Arms: Argent a Chevron Gules on a Chief wavy Azure, a Lion passant guardant Or, the dexter forepaw resting on an Escutcheon of the Field charged with a Maple leaf slipped also Gules.
Crest: A Boar's head and neck erased Or charged with a Maple leaf slipped Gules.
Motto: MEMENI
Hatchment:
Beddoe's hatchment graces the interior wall of St. Bartholomew's Church, Ottawa. The Church includes the many arms (shields) that were painted by Beddoe depicting the arms of the Governors General since Confederation. Photo credit: David M. Cvet
