Arms: Gules, a chevron Argent between in chief two roses of the Second barbed Vert, seeded Or and in base a pestle and mortar of the Second.
Crest: A mallard rising Proper.

Symbolism Text: The Roses represent my Yorkshire origins, the Chevron refers to my protection role as a Health Service practitioner of 40 years standing. The Pestle and Mortar symbolises my profession of Pharmacist. The crest, a mallard rising, is a play on the first four letters of my surname (Mallinson) and the last three letter of my Christian name (Edward)
