Arms: Party per pale Gules, an inescutcheon Argent charged with a Maple leaf Gules, surmounted of a crown érablé Argent, charged in the circlet with twelve maple leaves Gules (for the Office of Chief Herald of Canada), impaling, Gules, on a chevron Argent, two chevronels Vert, between three books, closed and clasped Or, on a chief Argent, a cougar passant Gules (for Watt). Behind the shield crossed in saltire are two batons Argent bendy Azure, charged with maple leaves of the First, the terminals per fess Gules and Or, semé of escutcheons of the Office of Chief Herald of Canada.
Crest: Out of a circlet of maple leaves Gules and roses Argent, barbed and seeded Proper, a lamb rampant, winged Argent, nimbed Or, unguled Gules, supporting a gonfanon Argent, its cross Gules, and streamers pendant Gules, Argent, and Gules, each fringed Or, furnished and the staff headed by a cross formy Gold.
