Blazon: Azure, arising from the base, the blade and upper shaft of an Algonquin paddle in pale Or, garnished Gules, between two fleur-de-lis of the second.
Significance: The name L'Aviron means "oar" or "paddle". The badge design shows a paddle of the type used by the early French voyageurs, between two fleurs-de-lis indicating their relationship to France.
