Blazon: Argent, upon a mount Vert, a moose statant proper.
Significance: The badge is that of HMCS NEWFOUNDLAND. All of the Colony class cruisers had an animal typical of the colony as the main device of their badges. HMS NEWFOUNDLAND used the North American Moose, which is one of the supporters of the Newfoundland coat of arms.
