RCSCC RESOLUTE
Blazon: | Gules, on a pile barry wavy of ten Argent and Azure, a seahorse Sable, caparisoned of the first, mounted thereon a knight in armour proper, holding at rest a lance and pennon of the second, the pennon charged with a maple leaf Gules. |
Significance: | The badge is that of HMS RESOLUTE. The pile comes from the common symbol of the Bay class minesweepers, representing the bay of the name. The knight, appropriately riding a "sea horse" represents the resolute warrior, his pennon declaring Canada. |
