Blazon: Azure a catherine wheel Or.
Significance: The badge is that of HMCS St. Catherines, a river-class frigate that served with the Royal Canadian Navy from 1943-1945, before being converted to a weather ship. The Badge shows a stylized Catherine wheel representing the martyrdom of Saint Catherine, whom the pagans put to death on a wheel of this kind.
