Blazon: Sable a winged unicorn forcené Argent, armed, crined and winged Or.
Significance: The badge is that of HMS Unicorn, an Aircraft Maintenance Carrier that served in the Royal Navy from 1941-1960. The unicorn of the badge denotes the ship’s name. The fact that it is a winged unicorn suggests its role as an aircraft carrier.
